Haikyu: The Dumpster Battle Blu-ray, DVD Announced

As a die-hard fan of Haikyu, I couldn’t be more thrilled that the highly anticipated movie, Haikyu: The Dumpster Battle, is finally coming to home video! After watching it in theaters earlier this year, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the chance to rewatch it over and over again. And now, thanks to the official announcement from animehaikyu_com, that dream will become a reality when the Blu-ray and DVD are released in Japan on October 30.

It’s finally here! The much-anticipated home video release of Haikyu: The Dumpster Battle, which was first shown earlier in the year, is now scheduled for this October. If you’re eager to rewatch or own the thrilling first half of Karasuno and Nekoma’s epic battle, be sure to set aside some money to make it yours.

As a long-time fan of anime and Haikyu in particular, I was thrilled to learn that “Haikyu: The Dumpster Battle” would be released on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on October 30. However, being based in the U.S., I’m disappointed to hear that there’s no news yet about an English home video release.

“Blue-ray and DVD: The Collection (Vol. 10)” could be paraphrased as “Volume 10 of Blue-ray and DVD Set” or “The Tenth Installment of Blue-ray and DVD Series”.

No information has been shared regarding the second part of this conclusion, but Haikyu fans are excited to witness the manga’s final arc being brought to the screen. Notably, this arc includes an intriguing time jump, and Production I.G. has confirmed that it will be adapted.

As for Haikyu itself, the manga is long finished, so you can read up on the hit sports series through the Shonen Jump app. The anime can be streamed subbed on Crunchyroll as well as Hulu. So for those wanting more info on Haikyu, you can read up on its official synopsis below before checking out its epic volleyball matches:
