Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen’s nuptials had a pitch-perfect roster.

Indubitably, much like the actress from Sinners and the Buffalo Bills quarterback declared, they exchanged vows at their idyllic California wedding on May 31st. Larry David and numerous football celebrities graced the occasion as guests.

At the wedding held at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, not only did the star from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” attend, but also Josh’s groomsmen included Dawson Knox (Bills’ tight end), Spencer Brown (offensive tackle), Mitch Trubisky (backup quarterback), and Shane Buechele.

On this delightful occasion, Hailee, aged 28, gracefully made her way down the aisle adorned in a strapless white gown. She paired it with long opera gloves and a veil of cascading tulle, fastened to her stylish updo. Simultaneously, Josh, 29, dressed elegantly in a traditional black tuxedo, perfectly complementing Hailee’s striking attire.

Six months following the athlete’s proposal to the actress from Pitch Perfect, under an enchanting arch filled with pink blooms overlooking the ocean, the ceremony ensued. After sharing the news on Instagram, Hailee disclosed that the event took place in Malibu, her beloved “happy place.

She shared with Who What Wear in February, “It was enchanting.” She expressed her gratitude that he executed it in a way that made her look great, ensuring they have photographs they can treasure forever, without any regret about what she wore.

However, there were worries mixed with the magic as Josh tried to secretly plan the proposal.

He shared with Hailee in her December Beau Society newsletter that he had been particularly anxious about her discovering his proposal plans. Maintaining secrets from her and having others do the same within her circle wasn’t easy, he added. On various occasions throughout the day, a song would play, causing him to well up with emotion as he thought about how extraordinary their upcoming day was going to be.

Josh remembered the special instance clearly, reflecting, “I expressed my impatience, stating ‘I can’t wait any longer.’ I also shared my eagerness about starting a family together. I used your full name and made a polite request by saying ‘please’.

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh confirmed their engagement through an Instagram post dated November 29. In the photo, Josh can be seen proposing as Hailee leans in for a kiss. The caption of the post reveals their significant date: November 22, 24.

 

A mere few months following their betrothal, Josh and Hailee graced the red carpet for the first time at the NFL Honors event. Notably, Josh was awarded the MVP title there. During his acceptance speech, he expressed a touching tribute to her.

He confided in her, “You’ve been my steadfast support and my dearest companion.” He admitted that without her, “I wouldn’t be here on this stage today.
