Half-Life 3 is “Playable End-to-End” – Rumour

The anticipation for the release of Half-Life 3 has become legendary and lengthy, a topic that extends beyond gaming platforms. Over time, numerous rumors and speculation have circulated about this shooter game, most of which were questionable at best. However, recent updates hint that Half-Life 3 could finally be in development.

It’s been asserted by renowned Valve insider, Tyler McVicker, that the much-anticipated game Half-Life 3 is at such an advanced stage of production that it can be played from start to finish. In a recent video shared via VGC (thanks to VGC), this leaker suggested that the upcoming title in Valve’s iconic series is being worked on under the code name HLX, and unlike Half-Life: Alyx released in 2020, it won’t be a virtual reality game.

According to McVicker, the game is undergoing “devout” and “widespread” playtesting right now, and since the development of Alyx was plagued by numerous leaks, Valve is reportedly being more secretive about Half-Life 3. The source indicates that the game has been “streamlined” and “refined,” with the project having reached a point where it’s either “content-finalized” or, at the minimum, “mechanic-finalized.

The tipster suspects that Half-Life 3 might get unveiled this summer and hit the shelves by winter, yet insists these details are merely conjecture. Keep an eye out for further developments over the next few weeks and months.
