Halle Bailey Deletes Social Media After Calling Out Ex DDG

The actress who played the role in “The Little Mermaid” has deactivated, or made inactive, both her Twitter and Instagram accounts on November 7th.

After criticizing her former partner, DDG, for featuring their 11-month-old son, Halo, on his Nov. 6 Twitch stream alongside Kai Cenat, Halle has chosen to remove her social media presence.

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know that I’m currently away from town and I haven’t given approval for my baby to appear on tonight’s stream. Unfortunately, I was neither informed nor notified about this, and I’m very upset to see my child being exposed to millions of people without my consent.

As a lifestyle connoisseur speaking here, I had the pleasure of having my good friend, Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr (better known as DDG), join me during one of my streams. We were quite cozy with him holding Halo on his lap throughout the session.

“This is the most calm baby,” Kai exclaimed during the stream. “How y’all got him so chill?”

DDG jokingly replied, “Bro, he was born in Beverly Hills.”

In my line of work as a lifestyle expert, I’ve been keeping an eye on the digital sphere, and it was quite intriguing to see Halo make his livestream debut, gracing both Halle and DDG’s social media platforms. Prior to this, he hadn’t made such an appearance before.

In the year 2022, Halle and the renowned rapper known for his “Moonwalking in Calabasas” hit made their relationship official. They then welcomed their newborn son into the world in December 2023, having chosen to keep Halle’s pregnancy under wraps.

In October, DDG revealed that they ended their relationship after two years of dating.

“After much reflect and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared.”

He added that he and the “Angel” singer are, “Still best friends and adore each other.”

After their separation, Halle has resumed her professional commitments, occasionally requiring her to be away from her young son. She shared with TopMob News that she’s learning to manage this new balancing act.

She told TopMob, “All you need to do is remind yourself that you’re doing this for your little one, and everything will be worthwhile in the end. He’s incredibly proud of you.

Halle added, “Affirming yourself with positive affirmations I feel like has helped me.”
