The complete two seasons of the Halo TV series can now be streamed on Netflix, a change that occurred less than a year following its cancellation from Paramount Plus, another popular streaming platform.
Previously, Paramount publicly declared that they won’t proceed with another season for the show, expressing pride over its ambitious nature and appreciating the efforts of the entire cast and team.
While those two flights that were aired can still be watched on that platform, they have additionally been distributed in the UK and various other regions as well.
In 2022, the initial season of Halo was broadcasted, with another season airing in February 2024. Showrunner David Wiener had expressed his hope to produce additional seasons, specifically a third one, hinting at the possibility, and stating that creating more of the show was indeed their intention.

As a movie critic, I found myself intrigued by the latest updates surrounding the Halo television series. Initially, when news broke about the cancellation, whispers circulated that 343 Industries might shop the series around to different broadcasting platforms or streamers. Now, with the series landing on Netflix, it leaves me wondering if this streaming titan is considering a further investment in potential seasons.
Indeed, Netflix has a history of reviving series that were once cancelled. Shows like Lucifer and Top Boy are examples of this. So, we’re hoping to hear more about potential resurrections in the future.
In the two seasons of this series, Pablo Schreiber portrayed Master Chief John-117, and among others, we also saw Natascha McElhone, Jen Taylor, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Olive Gray, and Bokeem Woodbine on screen.
