As a dedicated follower of Halsey‘s journey, it’s both heartening and concerning to witness her resilience in the face of adversity. Her ability to use humor even during challenging times, such as her hospitalization, is a testament to her strength and spirit.
Halsey is updating fans after a recent health scare.
Initially, the 29-year-old woman raised worries when she posted a video on social media showing her and her fiancé, Avon Jogia, at the hospital.
She wrote on her September 25th Instagram post, “Late Happy Bi Visibility Day!” This year, I’m commemorating in an unconventional way – for legal reasons, I’m jokingly saying I’m spending time with a man.
In the video, Halsey can be seen reclining on a hospital bed, an IV drip attached to her arm, flashing a peace sign while expressing, “Happy Bi Visibility Day! We’ve got some exciting plans for you all.
As the “Lucky” crooner, I recently provided further details about my situation during a question-and-answer session with fans on the platform that was once known as Twitter.
On September 26th, when a fan inquired about her health, the pop star responded by saying, “I’ve just returned home from the hospital following a brief stay, so any improvement is cause for celebration!
A fellow admirer recently inquired if my hospitalization was connected to a long-term health issue. In the past, I’ve been candid about my struggles with endometriosis and various other conditions. So, let me share my recent experience: “I had a seizure! It was quite terrifying! Not something I’d wish on anyone!
In June, Halsey unveiled details about her upcoming album “The Great Impersonator” by disclosing further insights into her personal health issues.
In essence, I’m grateful for life,” she posted on Instagram. “Expanding on that, I created an album.” She also tagged the Lupus Research Alliance and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The “I’m Not Mad” singer has previously opened up about the impact of her health journey.
Halsey revealed on the SheMD podcast on August 6th that she has lupus and occasionally faces additional complications due to this condition. Previously, she disclosed a couple of years ago that she also has Sjogren Syndrome, which frequently co-occurs with Lupus. Since Lupus is an autoimmune disease, it can sometimes weaken the immune system so severely that a T cell disorder may develop.
Of her condition, “I was getting sick very often. I was losing a lot of weight.”
As for the next chapter of her life, Halsey is hoping to turn the page on her struggles.
Halsey shared with TopMob News at the iHeart Radio Music Festival on September 22nd that this year has been particularly significant for her personally. With her birthday coming up, she’s excited to kick off the next decade in this manner.
