King of the Hill Revival
I’m thrilled about the upcoming revival of “King of the Hill” on Hulu, set to air on August 4th. In an interview with Variety, Disney Television Group President Craig Erwich hinted at some intriguing changes:
“I believe people are going to adore the fresh take on ‘King of the Hill,'” Erwich shared. “It’s remarkably fitting for our current times without forcing it. Hank Hill appears in a whole new light.”
While Erwich kept tight-lipped about specific details, the notion of seeing Hank in a “whole new way” aligns with the updates we’ve seen in recent years. Notably, the series will fast-forward King of the Hill’s timeline, maturing all our beloved characters. Voice actress Pamela Adlon revealed that we can anticipate a 21-year-old Bobby pursuing a career as a chef in Dallas. Since Bobby was only 13 when the show ended, we’ll have to bridge an 8-year gap to catch up with him and the rest of the Hill family.
