Happy Gilmore 2 Star Julie Bowen Teases Travis Kelce’s Role

Travis Kelce’s Happy Gilmore 2 cameo is sure to be a scene-stealer.

As reported by her costar Julie Bowen, the NFL professional’s role in the forthcoming sports comedy is expected to make a memorable impact on viewers, although she herself hasn’t had a chance to watch it just yet.

She shared with TopMob News exclusively during the Tudum event on May 31 that she hasn’t worked with him before, so it will be a discovery for her too. However, she confidently believes that he has acting skills.

To put it simply, the former star of Modern Family highlighted the fact that Travis, who is currently in a relationship with Taylor Swift, has a great deal of on-camera experience under his belt.

She concluded that he constantly needs to put on a show because of his high public profile. He’s learned how to compose himself under such scrutiny. (For additional coverage from the Tudum red carpet, catch TopMob News tonight, June 2 at 11 p.m.)

Hey there! I’m absolutely smitten by the talent that graced our screens back in ’96, none other than the hilarious Adam Sandler. You know him, right? The guy who made us laugh until our sides ached! Well, Julie, the star of that timeless comedy, couldn’t agree more with me about his charisma. She went ahead to call him a “well-balanced dude” and praised his “outstanding wit,” which I can vouch for wholeheartedly!

Apart from Travis’ much-awaited performance, Julie is incredibly excited about the upcoming sequel, confessing initially she was unsure if she would return to portray Virginia Venit again.

She said, ‘Although I’d only heard about it, I didn’t have the script, so I figured, ‘It’s unlikely that I’m part of it. That’s fine.”

However, having accepted her absence from the film, Adam reached out to clarify that her return was an obvious decision.

Or

Having come to terms with her absence in the movie, Adam made it plain that her return was an easy choice to make.

She explained, ‘If you’re informing me that I’m not included, don’t be concerned. I care for you deeply, so let it go without hesitation,’ she added. To which he replied, ‘No, you fool!’

Sure enough, aside from her, it’s also Christopher McDonald reprising his role as Shooter McGavin. He’s ready to step onto the golf course again.

He excitedly shared with TopMob News, “What an exceptional performance it turned out to be!” When I learned about it, I was overjoyed. I may have revealed it prematurely, but who can resist a bit of enthusiasm? Fortunately, they graciously overlooked my slip-up.

The sequel to “Happy Gilmore,” titled “Happy Gilmore 2,” will start streaming on Netflix as of July 25th. To stay updated on other fresh and upcoming film releases, continue browsing.
