Guided by Rosalind Eleazar in “Slow Horses,” the series unfolds around Detective Kat Donovan, whose world is flipped when she encounters her long-lost ex-fiancé Josh (Ashley Walters) on a dating platform, a decade after he mysteriously disappeared.

When Brendan, a young man, approaches Kat, he tells her about his missing mother, stating that he believes only Kat can locate her. He continues by saying: “Apparently, she mentioned going on a trip with her partner. That person she departed with… is none other than Josh!
