As a long-time Potterhead who’s spent countless hours imagining myself as a Quidditch prodigy, I can hardly contain my excitement for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions! The new gameplay trailer has only intensified my anticipation, giving me an inside look at the intricacies of the game.
The upcoming game, “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions,” will soon allow players to immerse themselves in the magical sports world it presents. As its release date approaches, WB Games has shared a new gameplay trailer that offers an overview of all the essential information about the game.
Beyond covering essential aspects such as various positions and distinctive gameplay styles, this guide delves deeper into the array of choices you’ll encounter in single-player, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer modes. Plus, it’s important to note that the game is completely free from microtransactions.
The walkthrough also reveals some interesting rule changes that might some raise some eyebrows within the Potter fandom. In-universe, catching the Golden Snitch instantly ends the match, while also netting the Seeker who catches it with 150 points for their team. In Quidditch Champions, however, catching the Snitch will only rewards you with 30 points, and the only way to end the game is for the time to run out, or for one of the teams to get to 100 total points. Check out the walkthrough below for more details.
The video game titled “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” will become available on September 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and personal computers. Furthermore, it is currently being developed for the Nintendo Switch as well. Additionally, this game will be accessible at no cost to PlayStation Plus subscribers during the month of September.
