Haven Interactive Studios founder Jade Raymond departs

As I, a passionate gamer, share the news, it’s time to bid farewell to Jade Raymond, the visionary founder of Haven Interactive Studios. As per a recent Bloomberg report, she’s moved on from Sony Interactive Entertainment, where Haven was acquired in March this year. It’s always bittersweet when talented minds like hers depart, but here’s hoping her future endeavors continue to shape the gaming world in amazing ways!

It was Sony Interactive Entertainment’s leadership who announced Raymond’s departure without providing an explanation, a move that occurred several weeks following a public test of their upcoming online shooter game, “Fairgames” (previously known as “Fairgame$”). According to sources familiar with the situation who wished to remain anonymous because they aren’t allowed to speak publicly, there were worries among some studio developers regarding the game’s anticipated response and development progress.

A PlayStation representative informed Bloomberg that Jade Raymond has been an outstanding collaborator and driving creative influence behind the establishment of Haven Studios. We’re extremely thankful for her guidance and accomplishments, and we extend our warmest wishes to her as she embarks on her new journey.

The representative stated that Sony Interactive Entertainment remains dedicated to assisting Haven Studios and looks forward to proceeding on this venture with the newly appointed co-studio leaders, Marie-Eve Danis and Pierre-Francois Sapinski.

It appears that the initial plan was for Fairgames to come out this autumn, but it has since been moved to spring 2026 instead.
