In the forthcoming second season of Star Wars: Ahsoka, Hayden Christensen is set to return to his character, Anakin Skywalker.
At the Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo, Japan, Christensen made an appearance on stage following the screening of a clip featuring Anakin and Ahsoka during a discussion led by show creator Dave Filoni, executive producer Jon Favreau, and Ahsoka’s actress, Rosario Dawson.
On his 44th birthday, Christensen received an enthusiastic greeting from fans, and then mentioned casually, “I’m not able to reveal much, but you can expect the return of Anakin in season two.

Fans of the franchise have been treated to a deluge of fresh updates throughout the event.
A recent announcement verifies that actor Ryan Gosling is set to appear in the upcoming movie, Star Wars: Starfighter, slated for release in 2027.
It was announced in January that Lucasfilm had chosen Game of Thrones actor Rory McCann to portray the character of fallen Jedi Baylan Skoll, following the passing of Ray Stevenson.
McCann is set to play a pivotal role as a formidable adversary for Ahsoka Tano. Having survived Order 66, he chose the path of darkness, forming alliances with Morgan Elsbeth, a Nightsister, and Grand Admiral Thrawn.
In the year 2023, the debut of Ahsoka’s first season on Disney Plus proved to be a significant triumph, with the premiere episode accumulating a staggering 14 million views in just five days since its launch.
Season 2 is not expected to be released until late 2026.
