Hayden Panettiere Addresses Concerns About Slurred Speech & Medication

As a dedicated follower and empathetic observer of Hayden Panettiere‘s journey, I can only admire her resilience and courage. The events that have transpired in her personal life – from the loss of her beloved brother to the scrutiny she faces in the public eye – are heartbreaking and overwhelming for anyone to bear.

Hayden Panettiere is speaking out.

Following some fans’ worry regarding the former Heroes actress due to her speaking style in a recent interview, she clarified the situation and shared what had been happening backstage.

Hayden expressed surprise at finding himself in this situation and felt compelled to discuss it in a place where he wouldn’t face criticism over the speed of his speech. (Instagram post on September 22)

35-year-old mentioned that she hadn’t slept for two days before the shoot because one of her dogs was recuperating from an urgent surgery. Additionally, she shared that the video for People was filmed after an eight-hour workday, and by the time they began recording, she was feeling quite tired.

She interrupted the conversation, recognizing I was running low on energy, as the topic grew more intense. We suggested to the interviewer if we could reschedule or conduct a follow-up interview via Zoom instead. She graciously agreed that it wasn’t required, and she appreciated the emotional depth of our discussion.

She mentioned that the magazine guaranteed they would modify the video to produce a captivating work covering various topics, such as the unexpected passing of Hayden’s brother, John Pannetteiere, in 2023 resulting from an unidentified heart problem.

She went on to say, “Everyone experiences grief uniquely,” adding that the question of whether she takes medication or not is private and concerns only her and her healthcare provider.

The actress from Scream VI commented, “The main problem is the harmful nature of social media and news stories fueled by sensationalism. Mental well-being should not be overlooked, and I hope it’s clear to anyone reading this that words spoken anonymously online can cause significant harm to others.

Speaking about Hayden, she who is the parent of 9-year-old Kaya with former fiancé Wladimir Klitschko, expressed gratitude towards those who stood by her during the recent tumultuous events, acknowledging, “We’re all works in progress on our individual journeys.

The worry for the Nashville star began to surface following People’s sharing of a video from their interview on September 18th. In this video, Hayden appeared fatigued and had slight speech impediments.

Swiftly, spectators pointed out their concerns, with one remarking on the video, “She seems unwell, both visually and vocally. Let’s hope she recovers soon.

Another added, “Oh wow. So sad to see her this way. I hope she gets the help she needs.”

However, as Hayden pointed out, the interview became particularly challenging when she delved into the profound influence that her younger brother’s passing at the age of 28 has had on her and still does.

She shared with People that he was her sole sibling, making it my responsibility to safeguard him. Upon his passing, I felt as though I had misplaced a significant part of myself – approximately half of my soul.

She stated, “This event has left me deeply saddened, a wound that won’t heal. Regardless of the passing years, I will carry this sorrow with me, unable to move past the loss he represents.
