HBO’s television series based on The Last of Us has been officially renewed for a third season, with the second season set to premiere this coming Sunday, 13th April 2025. This exciting news was revealed in an animated tweet by HBO.
Starting this Sunday, Season 2 of “The Last of Us” is set to air on both HBO and Sky TV in the UK. Each new episode will be released on a weekly basis, with a total of seven episodes planned for the second season. This means that the finale will air on May 25th.
In the games for both PS4 and PS5, there’s a noticeable divide where two parts of a TV show could potentially be separated. However, since HBO has revised the narrative structure of The Last of Us Part 2, we can’t determine exactly how they plan to present Ellie and Abby’s perspectives in relation to the storyline until we watch the upcoming episodes.
