HBO’s impressive take on Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us isn’t concluding anytime soon; instead, it appears that a total of four seasons might be required to narrate the story as we currently understand it.
According to a recent interview by Deadline with HBO executive Francesca Orsi (thanks, Eurogamer), she hinted at the possibility of four more seasons for the show. However, she didn’t explicitly confirm it, leaving some flexibility in case the story evolves differently. In simpler words, it seems we might get season 2 and then possibly two more seasons following that, wrapping up the series.
According to Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin’s earlier statements, it appears we can expect even more gruesome excitement in the future. The second season starts in April, and with an increase in Clickers confirmed, the intense, gradually escalating show should become even more action-packed.
