Plot: As the detective endeavors to find his kidnapped daughter, he uncovers a sinister connection to a renowned psychiatrist’s disturbing therapy method, compelling his psychotic patients to enact their sinister desires upon unsuspecting victims.

Narrative: The tale of Healing Towers unfolds as former detective Joe Coolridge (Keegan), disgraced by past pursuits that never led to finding his daughter, resumes the search. His relentless efforts have left scars on his career and yielded no clues. Simultaneously, journalist Julia (Leigh) is delving into mysteries surrounding missing individuals, among them her cherished friend.

As they join forces, they find that Doctor Mark Healer (McNamara) is engaged in dream therapy. Yet, what they uncover surpasses the ordinary and it’s revealed that his experiments extend beyond anyone’s anticipation.

In this film, a detective and a reporter join forces to delve into the mysterious happenings at a hospital. As they dig deeper, they uncover a far more sinister set of occurrences within the hospital walls, and their mission becomes stopping these heinous acts of torment.

Best Parts

Intriguingly, the film explores a unique idea where the characters chosen as victims serve a supposed purpose of assisting others. This narrative subtly reveals how such activities might thrive unnoticed and how unsuspecting individuals could find themselves unwittingly trapped in this situation.

Worst Parts

It strives to take things too far, yet somehow hinders progress instead. There’s an underlying narrative that unfolds concurrently, which is much more sinister but remains largely overlooked. If we had zeroed in on the doctor’s research alone, we might have uncovered a much grimmer tale. The acting performances could use some improvement as well, as the intensity never quite matches the intensity suggested by the scenes.

Final Thoughts –Healing Towers takes a disturbing walk into extreme therapy.
