Absolutely, fans of the Heartstopper series are eagerly anticipating additional content set within the television adaptation of the graphic novels. Previously, creator Alice Oseman has expressed her desire to conclude the story on screen by stating, “we’d love to tell the rest of the story in a TV format”.
In an interview with Netflix’s TUDUM, Oseman discussed the upcoming installment of the beloved series, stating: “Though we all yearn for the last episode to hit our screens as swiftly as possible, there are numerous factors at play that complicate setting a definite timeline.
“But we’re doing our best, and will let fans know as soon as we can.”
Without any doubts, it seems clear that Oseman has planned out potential scenarios for our cherished characters, following his revelations to The Guardian about the storyline.
They mentioned that they plan to work on both Volume 6 illustrations and Season 4 scripts at the same time, even though we haven’t received a renewal yet.
It’s crucial for me that the sixth book is published prior to season 4, as I want viewers to encounter the climax of the story through the books first. A countdown has begun to ensure its release in time.
