Heidi Montag is releasing more than just her inhibitions.
Following the tragic loss of their house during the destructive wildfires in Pacific Palisades, which swept through Los Angeles in January, the former star of “The Hills” openly acknowledged that accepting her changed circumstances has been a challenging process for her and her husband Spencer Pratt.
In an exclusive conversation with Will Marfuggi at TopMob News, she expressed that she would relinquish that cherished property, her voice faltering as she grew emotional. “It’s a location that meant so much to us,” she continued.
Following the unfortunate incident, the 38-year-old mentioned that she and Spencer, aged 41, are still liable for the financial responsibilities of their burnt property, which they share sons Gunner (7 years old) and Ryker (2 years old).
She clarified that they couldn’t reconstruct the place at this moment. She was unsure about their next steps since they had to continue paying the monthly mortgage for the property.
In light of the tough circumstances they’re facing, Heidi has been dedicating all her effort towards her upcoming album titled “Heidiwood“. This album is set to be released on streaming platforms as early as May 30, with the hope that its success will provide a new beginning for her family.
She said she wants to purchase a home where they can reside immediately. So, she’s praying and wishing for their success to be substantial.
It’s not the first time Heidi has discussed the challenge she and Spencer are facing.
In her conversation with TopMob News in February, she expressed that while the situation might appear familiar or outdated to others, there is still a significant journey ahead, requiring several years to restore normalcy to our lives.
Nonetheless, she kept an optimistic outlook, adding, “Hopefully we can.”
Regarding Spencer, who’s been active on social media to amplify his wife’s music, this well-known figure from reality TV is also open about his difficulties in coming to terms with the loss of his home.
He told TopMob that it wasn’t clear if Heidi had started thinking about things before me, and because I was so engrossed in her musical achievements, I didn’t get a chance to consider our circumstances.
