The iconic “Hell Teacher Nube” manga by Sho Makura and Takeshi Okano is making a comeback as a fresh anime adaptation set in the contemporary world, and enthusiasts have been given a sneak peek of “Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube” before its summer debut. Originally published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine during the 1990s, “Hell Teacher Nube” is one of many classic franchises that are being reimagined for a new generation. Fans can now witness these timeless stories come to life in a contemporary setting, and this time around, it’s one of Shonen Jump’s biggest hits making a return for the modern era.

In June of next year, “Hell’s Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube” is set to launch as part of the upcoming Summer 2025 anime lineup. Prior to its release, the licensor REMOW has unveiled a fresh trailer and poster for the revamped series, marking one of the many projects that fans will be able to preview during Anime Expo 2025 in July. What’s New For Hell Teacher Reboot Anime?

At Anime Expo 2025, Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube will unveil the U.S. premiere of a new anime as part of a special event, and it’s set to stream this July, though its U.S. streaming platform has not been confirmed at this time. The latest trailer also reveals that -SKS- ZIGZAG performs the opening theme song titled “P0WER-AkuryoTaisan,” while Chilli Beans sings the ending theme, “Sunflower.” This new anime consists of two cours (parts) of episodes, with the second half airing in Winter 2026.

Yasuyuki Oishi will helm the anime production at Studio KAI, with Fumito Yamada assisting. The scripts will be penned by Yoshiki Okusa, while character designs are in Yu Yoshiyama’s capable hands. Evan Call is responsible for composing the music. Notably, Ryotaro Okiayu voices the main character “Nube,” with Meisuke Nueno and others rounding out the talented voice cast that includes Ryoko Shiraishi as Hitoshi Tateno, Aya Suzaki as Kyoko Inaba, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Miki Hosokawa, Ryota Iwasaki as Katsuya Kimura, Shiho Kokido as Makoto Kurita, Aya Endo as Ritsuko Takahashi, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Kyosuke Tamamo, and Ai Kakuma as Yukime.
