Helldivers 2 sees the Battle for Super Earth end in victory, so here’s how it happened

At last, it’s come to an end. The epic struggle known as the Battle for Super Earth concluded in Helldivers 2, leaving the planet intact and standing tall.

Following several intense weeks of battle, there was an immense Illuminate incursion, during which the aliens incinerated numerous planets prior to ultimately breaching the core of the democratic system known as Super Earth.

Despite a tragic loss of life, including the president of Super Earth, the Helldivers managed to hold their position, ultimately emerging triumphant in the conflict.

After the Battle for Super Earth ended, we tip our hats to every Helldiver who stood strong against destruction. The flames of freedom blazed the brightest in Equality-on-Sea and throughout our valiant cities, where courage and selflessness turned the battle’s tide.”

“Together, you defended. Together, you secured liberty. As one, we vanquished the foe. As one, we are invincible. As one, we are Super Earth.

Here’s how it all happened

There’s a few key factors to look at it in order to understand how victory was achieved.

As the invasion commenced, it was the responsibility of players to safeguard seven massive cities on this super planet called Super Earth. The Helldivers weren’t fighting solo, as they were backed by the highly effective SEAF forces. Their involvement in the battle was crucial and their prowess against the Illuminate’s latest horrors, such as the Fleshmob, couldn’t be underestimated. These non-player characters (NPCs) truly demonstrated their value during this conflict.

Over the course of eleven intense days of conflict, city after city succumbed, leaving just two to stand their ground. One of these final strongholds was a city named Equality-on-Sea, situated within a fictitious representation of China.

In this scenario, the Helldiver contingent from China entered the fray with intense determination, maintaining a steady offensive against the Illuminate, repeatedly driving them back. This persistent success created an opening for those Helldivers who had ventured away from their home territories.

Over the recent weeks, the Illuminate had been the primary danger, but during this period, several players left Super Earth with the objective of reactivating the Democracy Space Station (DSS). This colossal spacecraft, known as an orbital war machine, was shut down right before the invasion. Brave individuals then fought against the Automatons, destroying approximately 200 million machines to gather the metal required for DSS repairs.

Upon the reappearance of the DSS, the Illuminate armada was completely annihilated. Exuberant festivities, unmatched in history, are taking place right now, featuring optional skirmishes with Terminids for Helldivers seeking leisure time.

Helldivers 2 is currently available on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC (via Steam).
