To locate the abbot for your quest, you’ll find him residing at Tanjosan Myoyoji Temple, which is nestled within the eastern sector of the Harima region. On your map, it lies sandwiched between Senri Hills and The Warfields.

In the heart of the temple’s main courtyard, nestled in its southwestern corner, I find myself standing near a crumbled wall – the loftiest vantage point across the temple’s expansive grounds.

Currently, there are many guards near the imprisoned abbot. If you’re thinking about confronting them directly, we strongly advise choosing Yasuke as your character. Equip yourself with his top weapons, and you should find it straightforward to clear the temple of its numerous guards. To put it simply, playing with him makes it easy to understand the objective: just enter through the main entrance, eliminate all the guards until you reach the abbot!

Easy Stealth Method for Naoe

To achieve this task quietly using Naoe, it would be most effective if you could deal around 4 to 5 Health Segments’ worth of Assassination Damage. Since this objective involves a bit more subtlety, here are some tips that might help you succeed.

The most effective method of aiding the abbot, as Naoe, would be by approaching the temple from its eastern side. Keep moving along the rooftops in a westerly direction until you arrive at the courtyard where he is being detained.

Upon arriving at the specified location, your goal should be to ring the Shinobi Bell in a northerly direction once the big patrolling guard is stationary to the north. If timed correctly, this action will cause three guards to approach the bell’s location.

Secure the elimination of the remaining sentry, then swiftly approach the abbot for conversation before any other guards become aware.

Should time become an issue, it’s beneficial to have the high-damage Assassination technique at your disposal against the heavily fortified guard nearby, as he has 4 Health Segments.
