After a long wait, there’s significant progress with Chad Stahelski’s Highlander reboot. The reinvention of this classic fantasy-action series, which was first proposed back in 2008 (and not with Cavill and Stahelski initially), has finally moved forward. Previously slated at Lionsgate, the project is now under the ownership of Amazon MGM Studios’ United Artists, who have acquired the rights to this eagerly awaited action spectacle.
