Here: De-Aged Tom Hanks and Robin Wright Movie Release Date Changed

As a long-time enthusiast and connoisseur of cinematic masterpieces, I am absolutely thrilled about Tom Hanks and Robin Wright‘s upcoming movie, “Here.” Having grown up with the magic of Forrest Gump, it feels like a heartwarming reunion that transcends time itself. The de-aging technology at play in this film is truly mind-blowing, and I can’t help but feel both nostalgic and slightly disoriented when I see Hanks looking as youthful as ever.

Title change announced for Tom Hanks and Robin Wright’s upcoming movie “Here” from Sony Pictures. Set to hit theaters on November 1, this film marks a reunion of sorts between Hanks and director Robert Zemeckis, who also directed “Forrest Gump.” The film has garnered attention due to its innovative de-aging technology applied to both stars. Hanks, known for his views on Artificial Intelligence and deepfakes, will appear younger in the movie. For those of a certain age, seeing these familiar faces may bring a mix of nostalgia and surprise. Joining Hanks and Wright are Michelle Dockery and Paul Bettany in “Here.”

In an interview with DGA Quarterly, Zemeckis shared the valuable lessons he’s gathered throughout his career in Hollywood. The film I Wanna Hold Your Hand provided him with a significant reminder about the responsibilities as a director and the broader aspects of the entertainment industry.

As a filmmaker with several projects under my belt, I can attest to the fact that the job is never truly done once the movie is made. My most memorable lesson came from the experiences of working on ‘I Wanna Hold Your Hand’. During the initial marketing meeting for this project, I was taken aback when asked about our plans. It dawned on me then that the studio’s involvement doesn’t equate to unwavering support or interest in the film.
