When my estranged husband filed for divorce after nearly three years of marriage, I responded by filing my own papers with the court as well. However, our requests to the judge differed significantly.
In his divorce petition, Josh sought alimony from Christina. Contrarily, Christina’s filing with TopMob News on July 16 requested that the court end its power to grant alimony to Josh.
In addition, the star of “Christina on the Coast” mentioned in her petition that they would decide later on how to split their assets, which they had accumulated during their marriage, with the exception of property acquired through gifts or inheritance. On the other hand, Josh’s petition, obtained by TopMob News on July 16, requested an equal division of all marital assets, including their home in Newport Beach, California.
In their divorce documents, there is a discrepancy regarding the date of their separation: Christina mentioned it was on July 7, whereas Josh claimed it was on July 8.
I’m a lifestyle expert and I’d say this: Back in March 2021, Josh, who is 43, and I, Christina, met and got acquainted. Christina and Tarek welcomed their first child together on Sept. 22, 2010.
Following their divorce, the pair continued to co-parent their daughter, who Christina has described as an “old soul who one minute can talk super deep about life and then quickly go back to being a kid.”)

Tarek encountered Heather Rae, a well-known star from “Selling Sunset,” at a marina in Newport Beach on the Fourth of July in 2019. Their boats were docked next to each other. In late July, they were seen sharing a kiss on a yacht. Tarek announced their relationship to TopMob News that August, stating, “I wouldn’t have believed it if you told me this a year ago, but Heather Rae is now my girlfriend.”
In the summer of 2020, the pair announced their engagement. Later, they tied the knot on October 23, 2021, in a heartfelt outdoor wedding ceremony held close to Santa Barbara, California. They exchanged their heartfelt vows during this beautiful event.
Heather frequently describes herself as the additional mother to Tarek’s older children, Taylor and Brayden. She shared with TopMob News that she feels like she’s taking care of two children already. On January 31, 2023, Tarek and Heather happily welcomed the arrival of their newborn son. The little boy weighed in at a birthweight of 7 pounds and 7 ounces.
Heather explained that Tristan was originally meant to be the name given to the baby, but instead, the parents ended up calling him Tarek.
His middle name is a nod to Heather’s dad.
Christina ended her marriage to her second spouse Ant around 2021. Later that year, she started seeing Josh. They made their relationship known to the public in July. Christina shared that they had been dating for several months at that point.
In her own words, the “Flip or Flop” celebrity shares that she encountered Josh, a realtor, during the spring season when she was no longer in a panicked or defensive state of mind. She had taken a break from social media, engaged a spiritual guide, and experimented with the use of a Bufo toad for the purpose of mental rejuvenation.
Christina and Josh got engaged that September and tied the knot on Oct. 6, 2021.
It wasn’t clear when they actually got married, but on July 15, 2024, Josh officially filed for divorce, stating that their differences were too great to be reconciled.
Before the home renovation project aired on the July 11, 2024 episode of “Christina on the Coast,” she generally kept her family background quiet, only occasionally showing pictures of her parents as grandparents.
Last year, she posted on Instagram that our families, hers and Tarek’s, would unite to attend Taylor’s Christmas concert at her school.

Tarek El Moussa’s mom, Dominique, is no longer with Tarek’s father, whose identity he hasn’t revealed in public. Instead, she is now married to Robert. On Instagram, Robert affectionately refers to Dominique as “the love of my life.”
I remember growing up, I never used my father’s name to introduce myself. But in a heartfelt Facebook post last November, I celebrated a significant milestone – my dad turned 70 years old.

In an interview with Country Living, Tarek shared that his father was born and raised Catholic in Lebanon and later in Egypt, and he encountered his Belgian-born mother in Europe during his teenage years.
