As an analyst with over a decade of gaming experience under my belt, I’m eagerly looking forward to the launch of Ranked Play in Call of Duty: Warzone. My fingers are itching to dive back into the competitive scene, and the prospect of climbing the leaderboard once again is tantalizing.

Enthusiastic and dedicated Call of Duty gamers are always eager to dive into Ranked Play, an opportunity to ascend the leaderboard and exhibit their prowess. Notably, the main Black Ops 6 multiplayer game has recently introduced a ranked mode, with the battle royale, Warzone, set to follow suit shortly.

Approaching quickly is the competitive Ranked Mode for Warzone! Here’s a brief overview of when it starts and the exciting prizes waiting to be won.

When does Ranked Play go live in Call of Duty: Warzone?

Ranked Play goes live for Warzone on December 5, alongside the Season 1 Reloaded content drop.

Generally speaking, it should be accessible at about 1 p.m. Eastern Time (which is 6 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time), but content from Reloaded will be released at a separate time.

It appears that the upcoming Zombies map, “Citadelle des Morts,” is set for a 9 a.m. Pacific Time (5 p.m. GMT) launch, suggesting that Season 1 Reloaded could debut at the same time.

Just like multiplayer games, you’ll be subject to a competitive play environment with certain prerequisites that must be met before you can participate. Specifically, in this instance, you should have achieved a top 15 ranking on Urzikstan or a top 6 ranking on Resurgence maps over the course of 30 matches during Season 1 to qualify for ranked play.

In Warzone, the gameplay rules have been tailored to feature weapons exclusive from Black Ops 6, with the exclusion of launchers for a more focused playstyle. The action will take place on the Urzikstan map, and instead of the traditional solo or duo modes, you’ll team up in trios with 120 players participating. Additionally, there will be limitations on attachments, perks, and vehicles to add an extra layer of challenge. For a complete rundown of all changes and details, refer to the patch notes.

The rewards you can earn in Warzone Ranked Play

In Warzone’s Ranked Play, the levels on the ladder mirror those in Black Ops 6 multiplayer Ranked Play. Starting from Gold, you’ll receive a distinctive operator skin. The individual who stands at the summit, in the Top 250, is bestowed with an exceptional Champion one, setting them apart as a top-tier player among us ordinary players.

As an analyst, I should clarify that there are additional rewards on the line beyond just the season’s outcome. The specific perks you can secure will depend on your performance throughout the competition. These include various aesthetic items and blueprint designs.

All we can hope now is that cheaters don’t spoil it for everyone else…
