Following its closure by Microsoft and subsequent acquisition by KRAFTON, the development studio Tango Gameworks – known for creating Hi-Fi Rush and The Evil Within – has now reopened. This Japanese team unveiled a fresh logo and website as part of their relaunch, as they begin to hire new talent to work on an upcoming action game that has yet to be revealed.
On the website, they announced that after some delay, the physical office for Tango Gameworks, Inc. has officially reopened. Now, our hybrid work setup has its in-person counterpart! It’s a process, but our Tokyo office is back and being adorned with memorabilia from our past projects while we update it to reflect our revamped brand identity.
Tango Gameworks is currently gearing up to develop a brand-new action game, and they’re actively seeking talent across various departments. At this stage, we can’t share too many details, but there are several job opportunities available for those who want to contribute early to an as-yet-unannounced action game!
Addressing the emblem of the studio, it – together with the website – is crafted to convey the sensation of creating a game. The studio’s vision revolves around an environment that functions like a creative studio, developing games and experiences that underscore the “homemade” quality reflected in our work.
Initially established in 2010 by Zenimax Media, this developer has gained recognition for popular games such as Hi-Fi Rush, The Evil Within series, and the initial PlayStation 5 release, Ghostwire: Tokyo.
