No matter where Hideo Kojima ventures, Geoff Keighley is sure to follow close behind. This lopsided friendship has led to several exciting announcements throughout the years, and it seems another one may be on the horizon at next week’s Summer Game Fest live event.
Keighley shares via Twitter that Hideo Kojima will appear live on stage during Summer Game Fest. Although he doesn’t specify his role, given the event’s focus on game reveals, it’s likely we may catch a glimpse of a Death Stranding 2 teaser.
Kojima recently announced that the launch trailer for his upcoming PS5 game will drop around a week to two weeks before its release. As Death Stranding 2’s early access is scheduled for June 24th, the Geoff Keighley show falls outside of this timeline. Since all of Kojima Productions’ attention is currently on the game and not OD or Physint, it’s unlikely that Kojima will bring anything else to the show. It might be possible that he has another platform for promotion instead?
