Hilaria Baldwin’s Secret Cosmetic Fix

Hilaria Baldwin is detailing how motherhood transformed her body. 

The partner of Yoga Vida’s co-founder (who is married to Alec Baldwin and shares children Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2) recently disclosed that she underwent a breast lift procedure following the birth of her seventh child in late 2022.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always believed in making informed decisions based on my experiences. In the recent episode of The Baldwins on April 6th, I shared that one such choice was to breastfeed extensively for a significant period. Over the last decade, I’ve been either pregnant or breastfeeding, and it seems like this is the first time since becoming a mother that I’m not in that phase anymore.

According to Hilaria, she made this cosmetic decision after noticing a few changes in her body.

She said it seemed as though her body wasn’t hers anymore, since it had been accustomed to a particular form for so long. Afterward, she admitted that the treatment restored her confidence. In essence, she did it to help herself feel comfortable, and that was perfectly fine with her.

Furthermore, the writer of “Manual Not Included” proudly showcases her breast lift, but she aspires that her children won’t experience any pressure to resort to plastic surgery due to the perpetuation of an unattainable aesthetic ideal.

Hilaria mentioned, ‘Whenever I engage in things related to vanity, I don’t wish for them to feel pressured to conform to any particular standard.’ Instead, I aim to shield Carmen because I’ve gone through a lot of self-doubt and paid more attention to criticism than was healthy.

On previous occasions, Hilaria has been candid about managing parenthood. She mentioned that she and Alec, who are parents to Irene Baldwin (aged 29) from a past relationship with Kim Basinger, strive to divide their time equally among their children.

In a September 2022 Instagram post shortly after welcoming her youngest child Ilaria, Hilaria wrote, “I’m ensuring each of my other kids get their ‘mommy time,’ too. It’s all about juggling being a new mom, breastfeeding, recovery, and staying productive to be the best mom I can possibly be for all my children.

In February 2011, Alec Baldwin shared his contact details with Hilaria Thomas, whom he’d just met at Pure Food and Wine in New York. They exchanged messages through phone calls (playing phone tag) before setting a date for their first dinner together.

That August they enjoyed their first US Open together, one of Alec’s favorite events.

In a glimpse of what lay ahead, Alec foresaw himself with Hilaria attending the 10th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation’s “An Enduring Vision” event at Cipriani Wall Street in October 2011. The very next month, they decided to share a home together.

In 2012, Hilaria joined Alec at the Cannes Film Festival. Regarding his dating life since his divorce, he stated, “I’ve had my fair share of relationships and spent considerable time contemplating my desires and aspirations.” He continued, “Perhaps I overthought things. I wasn’t quite prepared to seize that opportunity and act until I encountered Hilaria.

 

In April 2012, Alec’s rep confirmed to TopMob News that he and Hilaria were engaged.

Hilaria and Ireland Baldwin often post about their close bond on Twitter. Initially, Ireland playfully suggested she’d be the flower girl at the wedding, but it turned out she was actually a bridesmaid instead.

30th June 2012 marked the day the joyful pair exchanged vows, surrounded by loved ones at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Manhattan. The bride graced the occasion in an Amsale gown made of silk magnolias, while the groom sported a Tom Ford tuxedo.

This couple has expanded their family to seven members, with the addition of Carmen Gabriela (born Aug. 23, 2013), Rafael Thomas (born June 17, 2015), Leonardo Ángel Charles (born Sept. 12, 2016), Romeo Alejandro David (born May 17, 2018), Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas (born Sept. 8, 2020), Maria Lucia Victoria (born Feb. 25, 2021, through a surrogate), and Ilaria Catalina Irena (born Sept. 22, 2022).
