A playable demonstration for the action platformer game called “Hirogami” can now be accessed on PC via Steam during the Steam Next Fest: June 2025 Edition, which takes place from June 9 to 16. This event was jointly announced by publishers Kakehashi Games and developers Bandai Namco Studios Singapore.
Here is a brief overview of the game, via Kakehashi Games:
In the game called Hirogami, players take on the character of Hiro, a valiant fighter who safeguards his vulnerable realm against hostile entities referred to as “the Blight.” Equipped with the age-old skill of origami, he wields this power to protect his world.
In a unique twist, Hiro utilizes the might of foldable animal shapes for jumping, tumbling, gliding, and overcoming obstacles in platform challenges, vanquishing adversaries, and – under your guidance – safeguard the serene Shishiki Village’s peace.
Navigate your way past barriers and adversaries of all kinds, embodying the resilient Armadillo, swing through the canopy and crush pesky creatures as a powerful Monkey, and bound to locations once thought inaccessible as an agile Frog.
Hirogami is due out for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on September 3.
