Hogwarts Legacy – Switch 2 ‘Gameplay’ trailer

Games and Portkey Games, in collaboration with developers Avalanche Software and Krome Studios, have unveiled a gameplay trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of the open-world action RPG “Hogwarts Legacy”. This new version is set to launch simultaneously with the console on June 5.

Pre-orders for the game are also now available in teh following editions:

  • Physical Standard Edition ($59.99)
  • Digital Standard Edition ($59.99)
    • The digital edition of Hogwarts Legacy for Switch 2 is available at a discount to players who already own the digital or physical Switch edition. Players who own the physical edition of Hogwarts Legacy on Switch will need to download [Activate Hogwarts Legacy Owner’s Discount on Nintendo Switch 2] in-game to see the available discount on Nintendo eShop.
  • Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99)

Games, and developed by Avalanche Software, the game titled “Hogwarts Legacy” offers an engaging, action-packed, open-world role-playing experience within the wizarding world of the 1800s. Players start as fifth-year students, embarking on a journey that takes them through both new and recognizable locations. They’ll uncover magical creatures, brew potions, enhance their spell casting abilities, develop talents, and personalize their character to shape their own destiny as either a witch or wizard.

Users can immerse themselves in the magical world of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry via the game, “Hogwarts Legacy,” now available on Nintendo Switch 2. This version has been upgraded with Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, enhanced graphics, audio, reduced load times, and optimized controls specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2. The development of this Nintendo Switch 2 edition of “Hogwarts Legacy” is a collaborative effort between Avalanche Software and Krome Studios.

Right now, you can play Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, as well as on PC through platforms like Steam and the Epic Games Store.
