In approximately a month, Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled as a debut game for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. As we get closer, more information about the open-world action RPG’s adaptation for Nintendo’s advanced console is emerging gradually.
In a recent Japanese press statement, Sega, who is responsible for distributing Hogwarts Legacy in Japan, has disclosed that the game will operate at 1440p on the Nintendo Switch 2 when played in docked mode. On the other hand, it will run at 1080p when played in handheld mode (as reported by VGC).
The upcoming version of the game is expected to showcase enhanced lighting, shadows, and overall graphics, promising a substantial upgrade compared to the original Hogwarts Legacy on Switch. Additionally, it has been verified that the game will support High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). Notably, this makes it the second title to announce DLSS compatibility for the yet-to-be-released Switch 2, following in the footsteps of Cyberpunk 2077.
The game titled “Hogwarts Legacy” can be played on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers. It’s set to debut on Nintendo Switch on June 5th.
