As a devoted fan of the game “Hollow Knight,” especially those eagerly anticipating the arrival of its sequel, “Hollow Knight: Silksong,” the current wait must be excruciating without a confirmed release date. The hint that the long-awaited Metroidvania will be playable on the recently unveiled Xbox ROG Ally upon its Holiday season launch has sparked speculation among fans, leading some to assume it’s coming out simultaneously with the handheld device.
Contrary to what was previously thought, Team Cherry’s Matthew “Leth” Griffin, in charge of marketing and publishing, has confirmed on Discord (via Reddit) that the game will be released before the holiday season. Additionally, it’s important to note that its launch is not connected to any specific console release, so you won’t need to wait for the Xbox ROG Ally to play it.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m anxiously waiting for the upcoming game, but with the latest news, it seems we might be able to get our hands on it before Halloween! Fingers crossed, but we’ll just have to wait and see as the release date is still under wraps.
The game titled “Hollow Knight: Silksong” will be released on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Personal Computers, Nintendo Switch, and a yet-to-be-released Nintendo Switch 2.
