A renowned hairstylist who had worked with stars like Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez, as well as many others during his professional journey, tragically passed away at 34 years old recently.

In my role as a lifestyle expert, I find myself compelled to share some deeply sad news. It’s with profound sorrow that I announce the passing of my beloved brother, Jesus Guerrero, who has now ascended to the heavens. This information was shared on a GoFundMe page set up in his memory by yours truly, Gris Guerrero.

Jesus was more than just a son, a brother, an uncle, or an artist. He was a friend, a confidant, and so much more to many. His spirit touched countless lives, leaving behind a beautiful tapestry of memories that will continue to inspire us all.

Hailing from Houston, TX and nurtured by immigrant parents, Jesus developed a strong work ethic and harbored ambitions of reaching the pinnacle using his talents. Tragically, his demise came swiftly and without warning. At present, his family is managing his possessions and arrangements to transport him back to Houston for burial.

Following the news about Jesus’ passing, his close associates, among them a fellow hairdresser named Jen Atkin, paid tribute to his memory.

The founder of Ouai expressed on her Instagram Story, February 22nd, “Our hearts have been irrevocably changed.” She was referring to a person whose love and talent were taken away from us much sooner than expected.

Jen mentioned, “Jesus poured everything he had into everything he did, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.” She continued, “He appeared here 10 years ago from Texas, brimming with this extraordinary talent, kindness, and an unforgettable smile. He was always the first to give a heartfelt welcome, playfully mess with your hair, and inquire about your well-being.

As Jen noted, Jesus was easy to root for.

She affirmed her love for Jesus and expressed her hope that he could see all the tears being shed by everyone.

As a die-hard admirer, I couldn’t help but resonate with Jen’s feelings when I exclaimed on my Insta Story last February 23rd about Chris Appleton’s unmatchable skill – the divine touch of his scissors is truly indisputable!
