The latest demonstration for the psychological survival-horror game titled “Holstin” has been released on PC through Steam, as declared by its developer, Sonka.
Here is an overview of the demo, via Sonka:
The upcoming demo provides a comprehensive introduction to the overall atmosphere of Holstin, immersing players in its chilling 90s Eastern Euro-inspired setting from the very beginning. The story commences with the initial part of the Holstin narrative, detailing what leads you to the dilapidated and spiritually possessed Polish town of Jeziorne-Kolonia by the lake. This demo allows players to delve into the fundamental gameplay elements, including participating in intense battles, solving intriguing environmental puzzles, scavenging for resources, exploring contaminated streets and buildings, and interacting with the unstable residents who have yet to fully transform. Additionally, it showcases Holstin’s distinctive camera and lighting system, which smoothly transitions between various viewpoints in real-time lit 3D pixel environments.
Holstin is set to launch on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam-compatible PCs. At this point, a specific release date has not been disclosed.
