Home Improvement Star Zachery Ty Bryan Arrested and Charged With DUI

As someone who grew up watching Zachery Ty Bryan bring Brad Taylor to life on “Home Improvement,” it’s truly disheartening to see him struggle with legal troubles yet again. The 43-year-old actor, who was once a beacon of innocence and charm on our TV screens, now seems to be living a very different reality off-screen.

Zachery Ty Bryan is facing more legal trouble.

In a recent development reported by TopMob News, it’s been revealed that the actor who portrayed Brad Taylor, Tim Allen’s son and Jonathan Taylor Thomas’ brother on “Home Improvement,” was taken into custody on October 25th. The charges include a second felony DUI offense, as indicated in records from the Custer County Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, it appears he was driving without a valid driver’s license, according to the same records. He was apprehended around 8:30 a.m. local time.

On October 25th, during the early hours of the morning, Bryan was discovered dozing off in the back seat of a car by authorities, as reported by documents from the authorities and confirmed by TMZ.

According to the documentation, Bryan had a brief chat with Oklahoma officials before they released him. Not long afterwards, the police spotted Bryan driving and immediately stopped him. The records indicate that Bryan admitted to being drunk after being pulled over, and he subsequently failed the sobriety test.

TopMob News has attempted to contact the Custer County Sheriff’s Office and representatives for Bryan, but we have yet to receive a response.

Recently, Bryan hasn’t had a clean record with the law. Most recently, he was apprehended in La Quinta, California in February on suspicion of DUI and later released on a $50,000 bond. In 2020, reports surfaced that the actor from ‘The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift’, who was 39 at the time, was detained and accused of fourth-degree assault in Eugene, Oregon following allegations he strangled his 27-year-old girlfriend. A representative for the Eugene Police Department confirmed this to TopMob News.

During the argument, it was reported that Bryan allegedly attacked the individual, obstructed her breathing, and snatched her phone as she tried to contact emergency services. The person involved chose not to seek medical attention. Subsequently, Bryan was peacefully apprehended and detained at the Lane County Jail. This information was shared by a spokesperson with TopMob News at the time.
