In this trailer, we see an exciting unveiling of fresh characters, including the free five-star character from Fate/Stay Night named Archer. For gamers eager to know what’s coming with the update, here’s a rundown of all the new elements arriving in Honkai: Star Rail with the Version 3.4 update on July 2nd.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4 Update Characters, Event Details, & New Content
In the upcoming Version 3.4 “The Sun is Fated to Expire” update, the narrative of our game progresses, as Phainon and his comrade, the Trailblazer, persist on their mission to restore the Coreflame. This update will mark the debut of Phainon as a playable character, accompanied by the introduction of two fresh characters set to join us.
Starting from July 11th, the collaboration with “Fate Stay/Night” commences, introducing Saber and Archer into the game’s roster. Saber is a 5-star Wind character, while Archer is a 5-star Quantum character. Notably, Archer can be claimed for free from July 11th until the end of Version 3.6. It’s important to mention that both characters won’t have an English dub, but instead will be voiced in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean languages.

In addition to introducing fresh characters, Update 3.4 will reintroduce Tribbie, Sunday, Sparkle, Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade on temporary banners. For the initial phase, it’s Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle; for the latter half, it’s Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade. Moreover, some characters will receive gameplay improvements to boost their performance in battles. Characters receiving such enhancements are Blade, Kafka, Jingliu, and Silver Wolf in Update 3.4.

The standout feature this time is the inclusion of the long-awaited “skip dialogue” option, allowing players to hasten narrative progress if they choose.
