Honor of Kings: World Will Receive Behind-Closed-Doors Playtest at GDC 2025

Approximately four years after its unveiling, the game previously resembling “Monster Hunter” has evolved into something more akin to “Genshin Impact”, titled “Honor of Kings: World“. This game will be presented at GDC 2025, but unfortunately, a release date remains undisclosed. As for platforms, they have not been explicitly stated yet. Nevertheless, fresh footage of the work-in-progress gameplay offers a glimpse into cooperative play and new adversaries.

TiMi Studio Group has announced a private playtesting session exclusively for credentialed journalists, and their official website is now active, detailing various destinations within Jixia, such as the Tower of Wisdom in the Jixia Academy, the Springbrook Plains featuring its ancient ruins and wetlands, and the mountainous regions.

Additionally, there are other potentially perilous locales such as Dragon’s Remains valley, named after the remains of a colossal dragon, and the enigmatic Caelumpila Ruins, once serving as a military training base concealing hidden mysteries.

Though it’s quite fascinating, only time can confirm if we’ve made any progress towards launch. Keep an eye out for possible updates in the near future, and don’t forget to explore more gameplay right here.
