King Charles III is preparing for Easter with a reminder.
In the light of his ongoing cancer battle, which began in early 2024, the 76-year-old individual offered a thoughtful contemplation on humanity’s unique ability to bring solace and inflict pain, as people gather to rejoice with their dear ones for an upcoming celebration.
One of the mysteries we grapple with as humans is our ability to inflict severe harm as well as show immense compassion. This dual nature of humanity echoes through the Easter narrative and is reflected in the contrasting scenes that unfold daily – on one hand, distressing glimpses of human suffering, and on the other, courageous actions from individuals who risk their lives in conflict zones to save others, regardless of their own safety. [This statement was originally written by someone on April 17th.]
After observing that the Easter tale supports this concept, Charles drew upon a scripture passage from the New Testament.
He penned down that the world requires three enduring qualities: faith, hope, and above all, love. He was referencing a passage which states, “Love is the greatest of these.
With these eternal truths resonating in my thoughts and feelings, I extend to you all a serene and spiritually fulfilling Easter.
Shortly after undergoing a routine medical check-up as part of his cancer treatment, the monarch issued an optimistic reminder, coming not long afterward.
After receiving his regular cancer treatment this morning, the King temporarily encountered some health issues and had to stay in the hospital for a brief time, according to Buckingham Palace’s announcement shared with TopMob News. Consequently, all of his scheduled activities for the afternoon were rescheduled.
Although the King managed to make it back safely, his royal responsibilities were temporarily rearranged for a while.
The King has come back to Clarence House, and due to a precautionary health measure suggested by doctors, his schedule for tomorrow will be adjusted too. He regrets any inconvenience or disappointment this might cause to those affected.
Although the royal family has chosen to keep details concerning Prince Charles’ cancer diagnosis confidential, he has on occasion shared insights into his health journey and the assistance he encounters during this time.
In his yearly Christmas speech given in December, he noted that everyone experiences some form of pain or hardship, whether mental or physical, at some point in their lives. The extent to which we support and care for each other during these difficult times – regardless of our religious beliefs or lack thereof – is a reflection of the level of civilization we have achieved as societies.

77-year-old Graham Craker, who served as a protective guard for both Prince Harry and Prince William from the royal family, passed away in April.
Craker was particularly present among the group of boys when they discovered that their mother, Princess Diana, had tragically passed away. He took part in the funeral ceremonies for her.
In reference to that, I shared in 2017 with The New York Post, “I positioned myself at the back of the hearse, and William glanced up, acknowledging my presence. I reciprocated with a nod. It was reassuring for William to know that I was accompanying his mother on her last journey.
On March 12, Hugh Grosvenor, the godson of King Charles III, along with his wife Olivia Grosvenor, shared the exciting news that they are expecting their first child together.
According to a representative, the duchess will welcome a newborn in the summer. The couple are thrilled about this development and eagerly anticipate embarking on their family journey together.
22-year-old Prince Frederik, the son of Prince Robert and Princess Julie, passed away on March 1st following a struggle against PolG mitochondrial disease, a relatively uncommon genetic condition.
In a statement, Robert expressed that Frederick is like a Superhero to him, our entire family, and countless friends. This admiration has grown significantly due to the PolG Foundation, which has touched the lives of many people worldwide. One of Frederick’s exceptional qualities was his ability to inspire others and lead by example.
On January 22, Prince Harry, also known as the Duke of Sussex, came to a mutual agreement with News Group Newspapers, which owns The Sun and the now-closed News of the World, following his lawsuit against them in 2019. This lawsuit was filed due to allegations that journalists and private investigators working for these newspapers had performed illegal actions to gather information about the royal family.
The agreement stipulated that the company would provide a significant compensation (for damages), offer an unreserved apology to Harry, and publicly admit the extensive media coverage and intrusive nature of their actions into his personal life, as well as the private life of Princess Diana of Wales, according to NBC News.
On January 14th, the Princess of Wales shared the good news that her cancer has gone into full remission following a successful course of treatment.
She expressed her sense of relief in being in remission and continued her focus on recovery, as she shared in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on January 14th. It’s well understood by anyone who has gone through a cancer diagnosis that it takes time to adapt to this new way of life.
As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but feel excited about what lies ahead! The year stretching out before me brims with anticipation and promise. There are countless reasons to be eager and ready for the journey that awaits.
In 2015, the Duchess of Sussex took in a rescue beagle as her pet, and this dear dog was with her even before she met Prince Harry. Sadly, this cherished pet recently passed away, leaving the Duchess to mourn its loss.
On January 7th, she posted on Instagram: “I’ve shed so many tears I can’t even count – tears that lead you to step into the shower, praying the water streaming down your face will magically erase them or make you ignore their presence. Yet, they persist. And it’s alright to feel them too.
Meghan expressed her gratitude for countless years of selfless affection, calling you ‘sweet Guy’. She also mentioned that you’ve enriched her life in a manner that remains beyond your comprehension.
Edward “Ed” Pettifer, who was once the stepson of the former nanny to Princes William and Harry, known as Alexandra Pettifer or Tiggy Legge-Bourke, was unfortunately among the victims of the tragic terrorist incident that occurred on New Year’s Day in New Orleans.
William expressed his shock and sorrow over the death of Ed Pettifer on a post to Kate Middleton’s Instagram Stories on January 4th. He stated that his thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Pettifer family, as well as everyone else affected by this terrible incident.
On January 1st, the former Suits star, who deactivated her personal social media profiles prior to her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, launched a new standalone Instagram account.
One day after that, she unveiled a fresh Netflix series called “With Love, Meghan.” As stated in a press release, this show creatively redefines the lifestyle genre by combining useful tutorials and heartfelt chats with both familiar and new acquaintances.
