The actress who played a role on Gossip Girl revealed that she’s not surprised people have rekindled their affection for her husband of a decade, given his portrayal as rabbi Noah Roklov in the Netflix romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This.
As a devoted admirer, I can honestly say that I am incredibly proud of him and believe he truly deserves all the success coming his way. To put it simply, I hold him in high regard.
Because he won the Best Actor in a Comedy Series award for Nobody Wants This at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, the 38-year-old man—who has a 9-year-old daughter named Arlo and a 4-year-old son whose name hasn’t been disclosed, with Adam—got emotional since this recognition was special to him.
In the interview, which aired on February 20th at 11 pm, Leighton expressed, “What a marvelous experience it was!” or simply, “I found it truly delightful.
The actress from the movie “Country Strong” comprehends why her portrayal of the “charismatic rabbi” struck a chord with numerous viewers.
Leighton clarified, “Everyone seems to agree since he fits the part perfectly.” He added playfully, “He manages to embody it well because he’s charismatic, if you will. I said it. But also because he’s an exceptional individual who infused the role with so much humor and compassion, really making the character his own and injecting a bit of himself into it.
It turned out fortunate for Leighton that she could personally witness Adam’s acting prowess, as he is set to appear in a brief role in her upcoming comedy series, Good Cop/Bad Cop, where she co-stars with Luke Cook.
Leighton was clearly enthusiastic as she shared, ‘I adore his work and find him easy to be with—it feels incredibly comfortable.’ She continued, ‘Moving our private lives onto the set comes effortlessly for us. We’ve done it before, and I truly hope we get another chance to do so.’
In response, Luke shared similar feelings to Leighton regarding Adam’s visit – but playfully admitted that at times, he might confuse him with his famous role from the early 2000s TV series, “The O.C.
In our chat, I shared that there are moments when I feel like addressing him as Seth Cohen, but then I recall that his name is actually Adam.
