In simple terms, Sony along with developer Housemarque have unveiled a new game called Saros. This game is set to debut exclusively for the PlayStation 5 (and naturally, it will also be compatible with the upcoming PS5 Pro) in the year 2026.
As a captivated admirer, I find myself immersed in the gripping cinematic preview that introduces me to my character, Arjun Devraj. This intriguing individual finds himself ensnared on the enigmatic planet Carcosa, which appears to be trapped within an endless cycle revolving around a solar eclipse.
In contrast to its predecessor, Returnal, this game features a significant change: it’s classified as a roguelite, meaning that as you continue to play, your character gains permanent progression across different attempts, enabling them to become stronger with each try.

Speaking as an ardent admirer of Returnal, I can’t help but be thrilled about what lies ahead from Housemarque. So, what are your initial thoughts on Saros? Share them with us in the comments section below!
