Hey there fellow gamers! Just wanted to remind you that the team behind the mind-blowing game, Returnal, from Housemarque, has been working tirelessly to establish “the Nordics’ Most Advanced Gaming HQ.” Well, I’ve got some exciting news for us all – they’ve finally finished setting it up, and it’s ready for action! Can’t wait to see what they cook up next in this gaming powerhouse.
The newly established Finnish office space, located in Helsinki, exudes an impressive level of sophistication based on the brief glimpse seen in the video.
The team’s workspace may be modest, but we can’t help but admire Selene’s spacesuit and helmet, proudly displayed in the reception area. It truly is a sight to behold.
To mark its 30th year, Housemarque’s newly established studio is now fully functioning. Equipped with modern meeting spaces, high-quality audio studios, testing grounds, and wellness facilities, it also prioritizes environmental sustainability in its design.
At present, there isn’t exact clarity about the next project the studio is working on, but job postings suggest it will be an action game. Interestingly, they have just brought on board a seasoned lead designer who has over a decade of experience at PlatinumGames.
Are you excited about what Housemarque might release next? Is it just us who think a physical version of the Returnal costume would be cool, or do you feel the same way too? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
