Dakota Johnson‘s ex was fifty shades of fascinated by her dream.
Just a few days following the public disclosure of her split with Chris Martin, the actress from “Material Girl” fame discussed the response Chris Martin gave when she shared an unusual dream she had involving Matty Healy.
Dakota shared with host Amy Poehler during the June 10th episode of her Good Hang podcast that he had an unusual dream. In his dream, Matty Healy from The 1975 was portraying a character who was killing people, and it was Matty Healy himself in the dream.
The 35-year-old then elaborated on how the dream became increasingly bizarre, revealing that her imagined portrayal of the singer – who was rumored to have dated Taylor Swift in 2023 – evaded being caught for his wrongdoings by transforming into a vegetable.
In Dakota’s words, when folks were searching for him, he might have transformed into something like a stalk of asparagus.
Additionally, it wasn’t just Matty who appeared in her dream realm; another well-known actress popped up unannounced as she ventured out to look for Matty herself.
The actor from Fifty Shades of Grey stated, “I noticed two posts, a bed, and it struck me as ‘Matty?’. As the linens dropped, it was him transformed into an asparagus and Angelina Jolie, also in the form of asparagus. They were getting married and departed in a helicopter as asparagus.
The following day, when Dakota awoke, she recalled sharing the details with Chris, and he turned out to be quite smitten by the tale.
As the actress put it, “Chris was like, ‘That’s a really good pitch for a movie.'”
Apart from that movie, the musician has also been backing another film. Interestingly, three days before news of their split broke in various media outlets after almost eight years together, Chris publicly acknowledged Dakota’s upcoming romantic comedy titled “Materialists,” set to release on June 13.
As the 48-year-old concluded Coldplay’s concert in California last June, he expressed his gratitude to everyone and added, ‘Remember to treat yourselves and one another with kindness. And don’t forget to catch the show ‘Materialists’!

Rumors about a budding romance have been sparked! After Dakota Johnson attended a Coldplay concert, fans began to wonder if the actress might be dating Chris Martin. Although neither of them confirmed anything for several months, further sightings hinted that these two shared a relationship beyond friendship.
At SIR Studios, the couple was seen together during the unveiling of Stella McCartney’s Women’s Autumn 2018 and Men’s Autumn/Winter 2018 Collections. Their hand-in-hand appearance fueled speculation that they were in a relationship, delighting fans.
In my professional opinion as a lifestyle enthusiast, it seems like some couples are moving beyond the traditional steps of their relationship journey – love, marriage, babies – and opting for something unique: ink art that symbolizes eternal connection. Recently, the actress from Fifty Shades and the Coldplay vocalist have sparked intrigue by displaying infinity tattoos, hinting at a deep, unending bond between them.
In a conversation with Tatler, Dakota subtly admitted her relationship with Chris by saying, “I won’t discuss that topic, but I can tell you I’m really content and joyful.
Following Chris lending his support at Dakota’s glitzy 30th birthday bash in October, the actress reciprocated when it came for her boyfriend to perform on Saturday Night Live. The duo commemorated this special event by showing up together at the official post-show party.
In a switch from her role in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” series, the actress took on the directorial position for Coldplay’s “Cry, Cry, Cry” music video. The video narrates a tale of a couple standing together to overcome life’s hurdles and offering comfort to each other during their tears.
According to a reliable source, TopMob News has verified that the actress from High Note and the lead singer of Coldplay have purchased a contemporary Cape Cod-style property in Malibu, California, for approximately $12.5 million.
Over the summer vacation, the pair embarked on a trip to Palma de Mallorca, Spain, spending their time there sailing on a boat and exploring the city’s attractions.
Prior to starting the recently released song “My Universe” by Coldplay together with BTS, Chris singled out Dakota seated in the balcony and conveyed a personal message. Addressing the audience, he said, “This is dedicated to my world, and she’s right here.
We want something just like this duo’s outing to grab coffee in Malibu.
