On the September 26 edition of Today, she shared, “Leaving something so exceptional is tough.” It was a heavy decision for her. She pondered and debated, then finally realized, “You know what? I believe this decade, it’s time for me to prioritize myself.

As I reached a significant point in my journey, I found myself reflecting on the need to part ways with my cherished 17-year career endeavor.

Approaching a pivotal moment in my life, it became clear that it was time for me to bid farewell to the beloved profession that had been my constant companion for 17 years.

She expressed, her voice trembling, “I understood that at sixty, it was time for a change and to explore something fresh.” Reflecting back, she recalled standing outside among a vibrant crowd holding inspiring signs. She mused, “This is the exhilarating crest of the wave I’ve been riding.” She contemplated, “It can’t get any better,” and concluded that this moment was the perfect time for her to embark on a new journey.

After a heartfelt goodbye, Hoda disclosed that she intended to devote more moments to her daughters, Haley (age 7) and Hope (age 5), who are from her previous relationship with Joel Schiffman.

She explained, “Given that I had my children later in life, I believe they should get a larger share of my time. After all, our lives are limited by time. So, considering everything, making this decision is incredibly difficult for me.

Regarding how a mother of two intends to utilize her hard-earned vacation time, she is choosing to prioritize her personal health and wellness.

In October, Hoda shared with TopMob News that she had discovered a Soul Cycle class in her town at 5:30 AM, which she intends to attend. Afterwards, she plans to prepare breakfast for her children and grab a coffee on the go from her Yeti.

After that, she went on to say, “I will take my children along the lovely streets to their school and give them a goodbye kiss.

For Hoda, this moment has been a long-awaited development. Despite the demanding early hours she often faces, the seasoned journalist has been meticulously arranging her schedule to maintain order amidst her bustling lifestyle.

Hoda mentioned, “I’ve been pondering over this upcoming day, as it marks a change for me. Due to my nature, I require a mini-scheme since I’ve been accustomed to structure for quite some time. I thrive on routine, hence I long for creating my own personalized setup that balances freedom and spontaneity, allowing me leeway for walks and other activities.
