This year, my family has endured several heartbreaking losses.

Additionally, Madonna acknowledged and honored the strength of her father following the passing of her stepmother Joan Ciccone in September, as well as her brother Christopher Ciccone in October.

She went on to say, ‘My dad has shown great dignity throughout it all.’ Witnessing him weep at our brother Christopher’s graveside immediately after he lost his wife—a memory that will forever stay with me. Being together with him and all my siblings during Thanksgiving has been a healing balm for my soul.
