How Mia Farrow Feels About Actors Working With Ex Woody Allen

As a long-time observer of the Hollywood scene and having been personally entwined with some of its most enigmatic figures, I can certainly understand Mia Farrow’s perspective. Her life experiences have undoubtedly given her a unique vantage point from which to view the complexities of the entertainment industry.

Mia Farrow has no hard feelings toward the actors who agree to work with Woody Allen.

Despite having collaborated on 13 films with her former partner, now both aged 79 and 88 respectively, following their estrangement, she managed to distinguish their shared filmography from the emotional hardships that arose subsequently in their personal lives.

On CBS Sunday Mornings’ September 1st episode, the star of Rosemary’s Baby explained, “I can certainly empathize if an actor chooses to collaborate with him. I’m not one to judge and say, ‘They shouldn’t.'”

In the ’90s, during a custody dispute with Woody Allen, Mia Farrow and her children Dylan (Farrow) and Moses (Farrow), made allegations that Woody Allen had molested Dylan when she was 7 years old. These accusations have been consistently denied by Allen. The claims emerged during the custody battle between Mia and Woody.

In 1993, I found myself on the losing end of a custody battle for my daughter, Dylan. Although the court couldn’t verify the claims of sexual abuse, they did find my actions towards her to be extremely inappropriate.

Over the past period following the allegations, Woody has produced a total of 33 movies and was honored with four distinct Oscar awards for his accomplishments.

Before embarking on her romance with Woody, Mia had been married to Frank Sinatra from 1966 until 1968 and Andre Previn from 1970 to 1979. Her relationship with Woody started in 1980, but it ended in 1992 when the media reported on his romantic involvement with Mia’s adopted daughter, Soon-Yi, who was 53 years old at that time.

Woody, the father of Bechet (age 25) and Manzie (age 24), along with his current spouse Soon-Yi, has consistently refuted allegations made by Dylan and Mia for quite some time, including his statements in response to the documentary titled “Allen v. Farrow” that was released in 2021.

He said, during his interview on CBS Sunday Morning, that it was hard to believe and yet the accusation has persisted. “They still hold onto, if not the idea that I harmed Dylan, the possibility that I may have harmed her. Everything I’ve ever done with Dylan in my life could not reasonably be interpreted as that.”
