Since Sarah’s character wasn’t present in the initial Dexter, she was given an opportunity to develop her own unique persona for Tanya in the latest series, which revolves around Patrick Gibson refining his killing abilities under the guidance of his father Harry Morgan, portrayed by Christian Slater, as he works as an intern at the Metro PD.

She elaborated, “I often discussed the experience of being a woman in a predominantly male profession during the ’90s. One might wonder about the resilience and camaraderie she mustered among her colleagues to navigate that environment.

Contrary to the seriousness portrayed in the series, Sarah shared that the atmosphere on set was surprisingly light-hearted due to the presence of actors like Patrick Dempsey, Christina Milian, and returning star Michael C. Hall who voices Dexter’s inner monologue. Interestingly, she found it challenging to maintain a serious demeanor with everyone around, as she candidly admitted, “It was quite challenging for me!

Without a doubt, Sarah made sure not to carry any negative vibes or dark energy home with her. It was reassuring given that she always values and cherishes her time with her loved ones.

She shared with TopMob News in February that dinners hold significant value for her. “Our family and friendships revolve around food, we truly enjoy preparing meals together.

She added, “We enjoy playing board games quite a bit. Due to an overdose of puzzles during the pandemic, I needed some respite, thus I temporarily stepped away from puzzles. However, we have been busy with various board games and card games instead.

As Sarah noted of their activities as a family, “It’s a moment of connection.”

The crime series “Dexter: Original Sin” will be available for streaming and on-demand viewing on Paramount+ starting Friday, December 13, for those with a Showtime plan subscription. In the United States, it will make its television debut on Sunday, December 15.
