This week, I had a fantastic chance to visit the John Wick Immersive Experience in Las Vegas, which seems as close as any fan could safely step into the movie world. As soon as I arrived, I was deeply engrossed – the concierge at the Continental Hotel’s lobby acknowledged me promptly before whisking me off to the famous operations room. The ticking clocks and phone operators on the walls immediately set the mood. That’s when the adventure started. My name popped up on the wall of rewards, right below John Wick himself, and all of a sudden, I was a wanted man.
After that, I was escorted to the Manager’s office, where he reminded me of the strict policy at The Continental: no business transactions are allowed on its premises. However, being friends with John Wick, he promised to assist me in exiting safely. The events that unfolded next were a series of captivating encounters, each more intricate than the previous one.
As a movie enthusiast, I found myself immersed in an exhilarating adventure. I tackled a labyrinth of puzzles within an escape room, took a risky spin at a casino lounge’s roulette table, and was privy to a fashion showcase of assassin-worthy bulletproof suits in a designer’s dressing room. Escorted into an armory brimming with weapons, I navigated through a vault fortified with laser tripwires, leading up to a John Wick-esque firearm training session that culminated in a thrilling street shootout.
At every step, the actors convincingly transported me into the gritty world of John Wick, helping me navigate each obstacle as if I were an actual member. Every element was carefully crafted, from ornate stage props to hidden references to the movies. Throughout this journey, I gathered the franchise’s distinctive gold coins and casino chips, even taking a blood vow to the Manager (luckily, symbolized by a red thumbprint instead of any real loss of blood).
