The Kabukimono is a group of lawless miscreants who act at their own will. Many of them are ronin, but some are even samurai and members from notable clans. One of these troublemakers, known as Ember, can be found in Osaka – and you have marked them as your objective!

How to Assassinate Ember | The Kabukimono Quest Guide
You will locate Ember in the northwestern area of Osaka, specifically in the Izumi Settsu region. It’s situated to the north of the Fisherman’s District and to the northwest of the Osaka Temple.
For further reference, here’s a more zoomed-in look at the map.
Upon arriving at Ember’s camp, take note that there are several ronin accompanying him. You can identify Ember by his distinctive straw hat and his attire in shades of green and black.
When planning his assassination, remember these two key points:
1. He has a total of 5 Life Points or Health Segments. So, make sure your attack is strong enough to cause that much damage if you’re aiming for an outright assassination. If not, be prepared for a fight until he’s defeated in combat.
A noteworthy detail is that there are red powder containers positioned near Ember and his troops. You can trigger these explosives remotely by employing ranged weapons and accessories, such as Naoe’s Kunai. This tactic can assist you in eliminating Ember’s men, inflicting harm or killing Ember directly, and even serving as a diversion for a stealthy assassination attempt. Our advice is to wait until Ember gets closer before detonating the containers.
Regardless of the method you choose, your goal is to eliminate Ember and his group to fulfill the “The Kabukimono” mission in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
