How To Beat The Controller
During the “Hot on the Trail” mission, you will meet your initial Controller for the first time. A key goal of this quest involves eliminating the Controller. Keep in mind that this adversary can attack from a distance as well, employing psychic attacks. Although these attacks won’t cause Skif any physical harm, they can induce hallucinations in him instead.
This particular mutant is notorious for causing problems, yet managing it isn’t too difficult. Typically, you’ll find it accompanied by a horde of zombies. It often lurks among these undead hordes. Your main objective should be eliminating them first. Aim for their heads and then once they’re all taken care of, concentrate your efforts solely on the Controller.
Once you’ve defeated the zombies, it would be wise to consume a Psi pill to lessen the impact of the Controller’s assault. In case you don’t possess one, acting as aggressively as possible will be your most effective approach.
Prepare your shotgun, advance towards the opponent aggressively, and aim to inflict maximum damage in a short amount of time given the circumstances. If you can’t eliminate the Controller, it will probably compel you into fighting at longer ranges by employing its psychic abilities.
