How to change skins in Elden Ring Nightreign explained

As a newcomer to Nightreign, I found myself initially unable to switch costumes, which are referred to as “Garbs” within the game. The reason for this restriction is that I had yet to unlock the Dresser.

Alright, let me walk you through this, as if I were a gamer myself: First off, to proceed, I’ve got to conquer two adventures, or Expeditions as they call them here. The initial hurdle is overcoming the Tricephalos (Gladius, Beast of Night) Expedition. Once that’s under my belt, I can then choose any one of the six new expeditions that become available after that victory.

After overcoming my second Nightlord challenge, I’ll have the opportunity to engage with the mysterious Dresser found within Gideon Ofnir’s study, nestled beside the statue where characters can be switched.

How to unlock skins in Elden Ring Nightreign

Once you open the dresser, you’ll instantly gain access to two unique skins for every Nightfarer: one resembling dawn called the Dawn skin, and another depicting darkness known as the Darkness skin. You can buy either or both of these skins.

This means right from the moment you unlock the Dresser, you’ll have 16 new skins to choose from.

1. The Dawn-themed skins predominantly feature gold and white hues and cost 14,000 Murk each, whereas the Darkness-themed skins come in black or purple tones and are priced at 35,000 Murk.

2. Gold and white Dawn skins can be bought for 14,000 Murk apiece, while black or purple Darkness skins will cost you 35,000 Murk.

3. The Dawn skins are mostly gold and white, priced at 14,000 Murk, and the Darkness skins are either black or purple with a heftier price tag of 35,000 Murk.

4. If you prefer the look of the Dawn skins, they come in gold and white for 14,000 Murk per piece. The Darkness skins, on the other hand, are available in black or purple for a cost of 35,000 Murk each.

5. For a price of 14,000 Murk, you can get your hands on Dawn skins that boast a gold and white color scheme, while the Darkness skins, which come in black or purple, will set you back 35,000 Murk.

For other skins, you can acquire them gradually through accomplishing Remembrance missions and Expeditions. However, keep in mind that once you’ve unlocked a skin, it won’t be immediately available for use; instead, you’ll need to buy them from Murk at the Dresser.
